The Photographic Life

“There are 1440 minutes in a day. In these minutes photographers capture a moment. These moments make up a day which lasts forever.”

This was the introduction to a recent exhibition held at the State Library of New South Wales where I have also had the pleasure to give a presentation of some of my own photography.

You can watch the five Sydney Morning Herald photographers behind the exhibition talk about their craft in these five separate and excellent videos giving a glimse into what it’s like to be a working newspaper photographer today.
