When I came home from work today the last thing on my mind was making photographs. The thought of trying to find a creative photograph was exhausting. All I wanted to do was lie down and sleep. Today’s image represents a small breakthrough for me with this project. It’s an image of a very old, much overused metal oven tray which should have been thrown out a long time ago, but we still use it and in a sense it does the job. But every time I was it up this is the thought that pops in my head; “we really should throw this out“…

I know, I know, not the most creative title for today’s image, but the best I could think of for this image. There is not too much to say about this image other than I quite like the abstract nature of it along with the implied movement. It is as if the ‘splashes’ are competing to reach out the furthest, almost like plants competing to get the most sunlight in a thick tropical forest by climbing up towards the canopy…
