“Handle Angle”

I have been making this image a couple of times earlier in the project, but I aways came up with other images on those days. So on those days I thought to myself that I could always come back to this one (though it does require a sunny morning).

Today was the day to come back to it. We woke up to a nice sunny morning here in Sydney and the low angled sunshine beaming through our kitchen window created a strong shadow of this handle on a pair of sliding doors leading to our laundry room behind the kitchen. Since I didn’t want to miss this shot for the project I decided to take the picture today.

I like the simplicity of the shot, but to give it a touch more dynamic I decided to “Angle the Handle”.
